2Embedcom announces that Falcom has released two new firmware versions for their AVL devices (STEPPIII / FOX / BOLERO-LT). Version 2.5.11 is suitable for older devices based on SiRFstarIII GPS receiver while version 2.6.2 is suitable for the newer devices which integrate a u-blox GPS receiver.

Please check the corresponding release notes in order to confirm the firmware version that should be flashed on your AVL device.
