CANgine CC is a protocol chip that brings CAN/FMS data directly into customers hardware without the requirement to learn details about CAN or the FMS protocol. The chip can easily be integrated in own hardware designs due to detailed design recommendations by ESS. Only about 25x22 mm² of board space is needed. The FMSIA protocol chip firmware behaves like the standard CANgine FMS. It supports the FMS protocol defined for trucks as well as the Bus FMS standard.
