Versión 2.6.7 de firmware para dispositivos AVL ya disponible

2Embedcom anuncia que la nueva versión de firmware (2.6.7) para dispositivos AVL de Falcom (SteppIII, Bolero LT, Fox LT y Fox LT IP) ya está disponible.

Este nuevo firmware, para dispositivos con memoria FLASH de 8MB, incorpora las siguientes mejoras:

PFAL commands
- GPS.Nav.DeltaDistance added
Alarm conditions
- GPS.Nav.sDist added (i.e. GPS.Nav.sDist>200)
- alarm check of internal distance counter controlled by PFAL,GPS.Nav.Distance
Dynamic protocols
- &(deltanavdist) added (distance counter controlled by PFAL,GPS.Nav.DeltaDistance)
Device configuration
- GSM operator selection option "fixed" added
Changes within factory default configuration
- AL 98,99 are removed (--> all alarms are empty now when performing a factory reset)
- Added GPS.HISTORY.MODE=1 (history writes full entries only)
  - This setting can still be manually erased or set to 0 if desired.
GSM
- If low battery is detected, device charges bat for 2 minutes before starting GSM engine
  - This happens regardless of specified chargemode setting.
- Compatibility improved for GSM Firmware versions 7.3.0 and previous
  - Results in faster network search, improved accessibility via SMS/GPRS
  - Increased detection of GSM coverage
  - Improved operator selection
- "no sim" gsm reset is performed every 1 hour
- User gsm reset performs a gsm hardware reset per default (1 minute off time)
  - Note that execution time of GSM.Reset is now 1 minute
- Operator lost timeout has been replaced by fixed internal timeouts and has been deactivated
  - Improved handling of dynamic protocol &(IMEI)
  - GSM critical communication error is suppressed if GSM is disabled manually (PFAL,Sys.GSM.Disable)
  - PFAL,Sys.GSM.Disable is stored nonvolatile and remains active until GSM is enabled again
TCP
- Improved auto dispatch mode
  - Roboustness increased for use in alarms
- TCP.CLIENT.LOGIN.EXT may contain dynamic protocols now (expanded up to 100 characters)
  - is used by Msg.Info.Serverlogin and automatic TCP server login message
History
- History size decreased to approx. 320K records (assuming full record mode)
- FS-POS history entries are written just when having a fix
- History is not affected by AGPS Update or remote updates anymore
Remote Update
- History works independend of remote update
